An STL can look correct in a thumbnail while still containing broken faces, duplicates or holes. STLFixer shows the problems it finds and lets you compare the model before and after repair.

What STLFixer can do today
STLFixer supports binary and ASCII STL files up to 50 MB. It previews the model, finds common problems, removes broken and duplicate faces, refreshes face directions and downloads a repaired STL.
What comes next
Future updates may add stronger hole repair, self-intersection checks and better support for very large models.
